Merry Cristmass and a Happy New Year to all of you with your wonderful four-legged friends! My Basset Charlie appears to be Chachi's grandson (Apple Pie's son), and it's a long time I wanted to give my regards to you from Tbilisi, but I thought it would be more pleasant to share our joy with you about Charlie's success. So at the end of October we took part in two dog shows, winning BOB twice among juniors and in one of them even took the third place among the bests. Apparently we are very proud and we guess it will also make you happy. Unfortunately we are not the first owners of Charlie, he was almost 5 months old when after having changed several patrons he at last came to us hungry (as I reckon), stincky and depressed, I cant imagine where they kept him for he did not even have desire to stroll, the only thing he showed the reaction to was his name, so we decided not to change it as it might cause more pain to him. Now Charlie is the most happy fellow in the dogdome, I'm quite sure of it, here I must add that I have five children who adore him and you can imagine the amount of love and care Charlie gets every day, nothing to say about my husband and me whom Charlie thinks to be his mother.

Thank you so much! Glad to meet "relatives" from Tbilisi. I also met earlier another grand-child of Chachi living in Tbilisi. I am also happy to know that Charlie now has a happy loving family. Unfortunatelly, his sotry is typical for basset hounds. I beleive he is a beautiful guy/ I would appreciate a picture of him.
