The word saluki I heard for the fist time in 1999, from my colleague who was personally acquainted with one of the representatives of the breed. By that time our basset hound Katya had her litter, and when the last of the basset team puppy left the parental home, I felt some emptiness. That’s why I happily accepted the invitation to come and see the puppies of the wonder dog Saluki. We were met by a bunch of awkward long-legged puppies, looking more like small storks, rather then dogs. They immediately surrounded us, climbed on our leaps and started dart around our pocket. The mother was proudly observing the scene. We came back home with one of the little storks. The basset met the new “toy’ with joy, but by the end of the day, after having enough play, started to push the puppy towards the ext door: It was fun playing with you, but now go home.

… It took her a while when she grew up and finished her turning into the swan but her 2nd year. She developed into a tricky tender dog, a little bit shy and naughty, as the real lady should be. She is keen on being clean, in the rainy whether you can not convince her to walk on the ground. The straw in her feathers is considered unacceptable. However, she’s got a strange habit to walk into river and lie down in the water, preferably where the highest concentration of the weeds.

She likes lisping, and could be very persistent in demanding attention to herself..
All her naughty doings she would follow with sincere apologies and intensive tail wagging. she does not steal food and is indifferent towards house plants. She likes fuzzy and hairy things, and she enjoys destroying her toys, plastic bags and toilet paper

Despite the fact that with Kosha’s appearance she undertaken the duties of the mother, she remains playful like a puppy. Now, When her boy is grown up enough, she does not consider necessary to protect him from the big dogs, and accepted that outside the house Kosha-Reggie acts as a pack leader
